Every spring, our chapter awards scholarships to deserving students in our community. The William R. Snodgrass Scholarship is awarded to two Middle or West Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, or Northern Alabama high school senior or college students with a business-related major such as accounting, economics, finance, information systems/technology, management, and marketing. In addition, two Fawn W. Ellis Scholarships are awarded to a Nashville Chapter member, member’s spouse, or member’s child or grandchild (any college or university and any major may apply).

While the Chapter has funding in the budget to award these scholarships, this year Nashville AGA has designated October as a month of scholarship giving. We are specifically requesting members and friends to donate to help students as they pursue higher education. With the recent rise in tuition costs, we would like to be able to do more in providing scholarships for the future generation. Membership participation would allow us to increase the value of the scholarships offered and offset additional costs for deserving students.
